Matt Kruyer Certification/Education: B.S. in Exercise Science, Ball State University. Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Philosophy/Experience: Matt believes that with educated guidance and commitment to an appropriate exercise program, anyone can achieve success. He has been an employee of Pinnacle Athletic Club since January of 2003 and was promoted to Head Trainer in April of 2006. Over the past few years, Matt has gained valuable experience working with a variety of people with different goals. With his education and experience, he will be able to create a structured exercise program designed specifically to meet your needs. Whether you are looking to lose weight, increase strength, improve athletic performance, or just feel better about yourself, Matt has the knowledge and expertise to help you reach your fitness goals. |

Sooka Elliott Certification/Education: Aerobics & Fitness Associtation of America (AFAA) Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. B.S. degree from Bethel College in Business Management. Certified Johnny G Spinning Instructor. Philosophy/Experience: Sooka has over 25 years of experience in the fitness industry, and has previously owned and managed two aerobic facilities. Sooka has been with Pinnacle as an aerobics instructor since 1995 and as a personal trainer since 1998, developing aerobic, cycling and weight training programs for her clients. She believes in enhancing her client's personal and physical well-being by helping develop mindsets that support long term positive lifestyle change. She does this by providing a balanced approach to aerobic and anaerobic training using the best tools and techniques tailored to fit each client's own physical characteristics and personal goals. Her ability to create and maintain relationships had made her a long standing popular trainer. |

Matt enjoys working with a variety of people and helping them achieve their fitness and athletic goals. He has been an employee of Pinnacle Athleitc Club since January 2004. Heather Rains Certification/Education: B.A. in Health and Safety Secondary Education, Purdue University. Certified Personal Trainer by the American Council on Exercise. Philosophy/Experience: Heather's philosophy centers around the concept that total wellness is essential for a high quality of life. In order to do the things you need and want to do; both now and in the future; your mind, body and spirit need to be taken care of. Heather has worked with a wide spectrum of clients during her six years as a certified personal trainer and as an athletic trainer in college. She has developed individualized programs for her clients that have helped them reach physical goals, to stimulate their minds with new concepts in training, and to give them a sense of accomplishment and well being. She specializes in special population program design, weight management, and strength gain. |

Lori Mazick Certification/Education: Undergraduate degree in Business Economics from Western Michigan University; Masters of Education from University of Notre Dame; Currently working toward a Bachelors in Holistic Nutrition from Clayton College; Certified AFAA personal trainer; Certified Spinning Instructor with MADDOGG Spinning. Philosophy/Experience: It is so essential that we focus on all the aspects of wellness and not simply on the physical fitness. Exercise alone, without proper nutrition and stress management strategies, can not provide ultimate health. We need to train our bodies to work in harmony; mind, body and spirit. This is why Lori fills the role as Staff Wellness Advisor on issues of diet and nutrition. She also teaches Spinning and fills in as needed in the Strength Classes. |

Justin Long Education/Certification: Certified Personal Trainer; B.S. in Exercise Science from Liberty University. Philosophy: Justin believes that with commitment to a regular exercise program, accompanied with a proper, balanced diet, anyone can lose weight, build muscle and generally make themselves healthier. One of the great things about exercise is that there is no specific uniform program that you have to stick to; whatever your goals are we can make a personalized program to help you reach them. Justin looks foward to working with a variety of people here at Pinnacle and helping them meet their needs and goals. |
