Heather Rains-Head Trainer Certification/Education: BA Health and Safety Secondary Education from Purdue University, ACE (American Council on Exercise) Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Core Pole Instructor. Philosophy/Experience: Heather has been with Pinnacle for 4 years and was promoted to the position of Head Trainer in June of 2009. Heathers philosophy centers around the concept that total wellness is essential for a high quality of life. In order to do the things you need and want to do; both now and in the future; your mind, body and spirit need to be taken care of. Heather has worked in the health and fitness industry for over 10 years as a certified personal trainer and as an athletic trainer in college. She has developed individualized programs for her clients that have helped them reach physical goals, to stimulate their minds with new concepts in training, and to give them a sense of accomplishment and well being. Heather trains individuals who are preparing for Fitness, Figure, and Body Building. She specializes in, weight management, strength gain, and special population program design. |

Kory Plummer Certification/Education: Certified Personal Trainer/ Aerobics Instructor through International Fitness Association, CPR/AED Certified. Philosophy/Experience: Korys philosophy centers around his strong family values. Kory believes that being a firm and steady role model begins with setting the example first. Most of Korys training experience stems from his five years he spent serving in the United States Army. While in the Army he helped other soldiers train for a variety of tasks. From marathon runs and tri-athalons, to preparation for airborne and air assault school. Kory now specializes in weight management and sport specific training. |

Leah Nagy Certification/Education: A.C.E. Personal Trainer. Madd Dogg Athletic Spinning Certified Philosophy/Experience: Leah understands that some of the hardest obstacles to overcome are the ones that we put upon ourselves. Leah believes that any goal is possible and through strong coaching and motivation she will help you achieve them. In addition to teaching spinning class, Leah is also a personal trainer certified to work with clients recovering from knee and hip replacement. |

Michael Macellari Certification/Education: Michael is a graduate of Stanford University with a bachelors degree in English and a minor in Human Biology. In addition, he has completed a full Pre-Medical curriculum with extensive study in Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, Physics, and Chemistry. He is a Certified Personal Trainer under the NSCA as well CSCS. Philosophy/Experience: Michael has over ten years of hands on personal experience in the field of Strength and Conditioning. He was awarded a Division I Scholarship to play football at Stanford University, where he earned seven varsity letters competing in both football and track. As a collegiate athlete he received extensive training in speed, power, and overall fitness development with an emphasis on the Olympic Lifts. Post collegiate, Michael served as a Volunteer Assistant coach to the Mens Track and Field team at Notre Dame. He assisted n the development of strength and technique in the Mens Throwing Squad. Michaels aim as a Personal trainer is a further understanding of human development through work with clients of all ages, ability levels and training goals. |

Pamela Voelker Certification/Education: Blue Heron Academy, ACE Certified Personal Trainer, CPR/AED Certified American Heart Association Philosophy/Experience: I have enjoyed working in the Health and fitness Industry for over five years now. Currently, I am a group fitness instructor and I especially enjoy conducting Personal training for individual clients, by appointment. In the last few years I have found a new understanding for mental, emotional, and physical wellness through exercise. It has given me more stamina, greater presence of mind and confidence, and allowed me to triumph over personal health challenges. I have a great passion for helping my clients meet and exceed their personal goals. I love to see the effect this has on their self-esteem and general attitude about their lives. My philosophy is to lead by example, inspiring others to make health and fitness a fundamental part of their lifestyle, which inevitably leads to improvement in other areas of their lives. I strive to be the most positive role model I can for my children and teach them that being healthy inside and out is key to their happiness. As your teacher and trainer I will be there for you to encourage you, every step of the way. |

Peter Ribaudo Certification/Education: BA in journalism with focus on magazine writing, Associates degree in liberal arts and AFAA certified personal trainer. Philosophy/Experience: Pete fell in love with weight training at an early age and has been a fanatic lifter since the age of 15. He believes to be the best person you can be, you have to push yourself to the hardest possible point to realize your true potential. He chose to pursue personal training believing if you do what you love, youve never worked a day in your life. Pete has competed in both bodybuilding and power lifting events and was a runner-up at the Mr. Ball State and took an overall win at a local power-lifting event. His specialty is bodybuilding, power lifting, strength gain, and fat loss and diet manipulation. |

Sofie Kodanashvili-Merz Certification/Education: Undergraduate degree in Social Work from Saint Marys College, Notre Dame, Indiana; AFAA Certified Personal Trainer. Philosophy/Experience: Sofie firmly believes that in order to achieve success as a whole person, one must strive for harmony in every aspect of ones life; integrating the intellectual, spiritual, and physical dimensions is essential in realizing such balance and harmony. As a personal fitness trainer Sofie hopes to inspire and motivate others on their own journeys to health and wellness. |

Tara Serafino Certification/Education: MS in Exercise and Sports Medicine from Western Michigan University, Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Philosophy/Experience: Tara has 3 years experience as an athletic trainer at both the high school and college level. During these years she has learned the importance of health and fitness, not only for athletes but also for the rest of the population. Living a healthy lifestyle is essential for personal confidence and self-esteem. Tara strives to help people set goals and meet those goals. She wants to inspire people to have a sense of accomplishment in their daily lives. |

Tina Dennert Certification/Education: ACE (American Council on Exercise) Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Certified Pilates Instructor; NETA (National Exercise Trainers Association) Certified Personal Trainer; AFAA (Aerobics& Fitness Association of America) member and Cycling Certificate; and Keiser Cycling Certificate. Holds several Stott Pilates Certificates along with SCW Pilates Certifications and Sports Nutrition Specialty Certificate. Philosophy/Experience: Tina has over _ years of experience in the Health/Fitness Industry. She has been with Pinnacle for _ years. She is currently Pinnacles Group Fitness Director. She is a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. Tinas personal motivation is to maintain her health and physical abilities and to inspire others to do the same through exercise and proper nutrition. She has a great desire to help clients improve their activity levels and achieve their fitness goal whatever they may be. She takes pride in her classes and clients, believes each one is unique and always keeps them guessing. |
